Mode of Action and Pharmacology
Travoprost is prostaglandin analog and selective FP prostanoid receptor agonist
It help to decrease intraocular pressure by upper the uveoscleral outflow.
However, the exact mode of action is unknown at this time.
Timolol eye drops function by decreasing the pressure in your eye.
It is occur by decreasing the amount of fluid that you make that fills the front part of your eye which is called aqueous humour.
By decreasing the amount of fluid produced, it lowers the pressure within your eye.

Precautions & How to Use
For getting good result it needed to put one drop once a day in the evening/night in the affected eye of patient.
Travoprost may cause brown pigmentation of the iris. This discoloration may be permanent.
Applying pressure on the corner of the eye for about one minute or more than 1 minute, immediately after putting the drop.
Other medication should be given after 10 minute in same affected eye to avoid the dilution of medication.
Sometimes patient eyelashes may become denser and eyelid skin may have darkened. These changes should disappear after discontinuing Travoprost.
